The Anime Network, which is the first North American channel devoted entirely to anime, has just enlarged its reach in Southern California thanks to an agreement with cable giant Adelphia Communications, which reaches an estimated 1.2 million SoCal households.  The Anime Network, which claims to be the 'nation's number one video on demand offering,' will become a part of Adelphia OnDemand later this year.

The Anime Network will be offering programming on Adelphia onDemand that includes the following: Chobits, Azumanga Daioh, Peacemaker, Chrono Crusade, Full Metal Panic, Noir, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Mezzo, Samurai X, Robotech, Gravion, Kaleidostar, RahXephon, Excel Saga, Final Fantasy Unlimited, Aquarian Age and more.
