DC has announced its first All In crossover event, We Are Yesterday, which will be spread out across six issues, with the first three slated for release in April 2025.

Mark Waid will be the lead writer on the project, which follows up on the events of the one-shot DC All In Special #1 that launched the All In initiative in October 2024 (see “DC to Launch ‘Absolute Universe’”). The first three episodes will have connecting main covers by artist Dan Mora as well as a number of variants.

The event kicks off in Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #38, by Waid and Mora, which spotlights the psychic primate Gorilla Grodd, whose knowledge of the future may bring revelations about the death of Darkseid. The issue will be released on April 16 with the first of Mora’s three connecting covers as well as variants by Gavin Guidry, Adrían Gutiérrez, and Elizabeth Torque, as well as an April Fools’ Day variant by Brandt & Stein.

Next up is Justice League Unlimited #6, by Waid and artist Travis Moore, which unveils the secret identity of the Inferno Cult and brings more supervillains into the mix as they attempt to do away with the Justice League. This issue will be released on April 23 with the second of Mora’s connecting covers and variants by Lee Bermejo, Nathan Szerdy, Dan Jurgens, Felipe Massafera, and Moore.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest 2025 Annual, written by Waid, Christopher Cantwell, and Morgan Hampton, with art by Dan McDaid and Clayton Henry, unveils the secret origin of the Legion of Doom and the plan by the biggest DC supervillains to destroy the Justice League Unlimited; the issue also will include the first World’s Finest appearance of John Stewart. The issue is slated for release on April 30 with Mora’s final connecting cover as the main cover and variants by Henry, Salvador Larroca, and Laura Braga.
