Literally half the Author chart is volumes of Solo Leveling, and one testimony to the continuing strength of this series is that Vol. 10, released in mid-November, made the full-year chart.
There’s more to the Author category than that, however. Four volumes of Lore Olympus make the chart, and the three most recent ones are the hardcovers. This is a trend that’s noticeable on the Author chart, because books in this category are often published simultaneously in hardcover and paperback. With a popular series such as Lore Olympus, the hardcover will outsell the paperback for the first few months. That was also the case with MrBallen Presents. The hardcover is in the Top 20, but the paperback is not. On the other hand, only the paperback of the latest volume of The Adventure Zone made the full-year chart.

The perennial chart-topper in the Superhero category since it was released, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin is once again the top title, with a second TMNT book in second place and TMNT X Stranger Things in last place. It’s not turtles all the way down, however, and many of the successful comic series of the past two years are here in trade collections: Deadpool vs. Wolverine, Transformers, Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, Ultimate Spider-Man, and Predator vs. Wolverine.
Four of DC Comics' Compact Comics made the full-year chart, which is impressive for a product that launched halfway through the year.
