American comic book writer Chuck Dixon (Airboy, El Cazador) will create and write three adventure-themed comics for Dreamcolors, an Italian publisher.  The English artist John Bolton is providing covers for the first issues, which will be published first in Europe with the first title appearing in April, the second in May, and the third series debuting in June.  The European versions will be 72 pages in length and will provide the basis for three issues of the English language version, which will be published in the American format on a monthly basis with the first title debuting in October.  The London-based publisher Fanfare is preparing the English language editions in cooperation with Dreamcolors and should release exact details on subject matter, format and pricing in the next few weeks.

Dreamcolors published CrossGen's comic books in Italy and therefore is well acquainted with Chuck Dixon's work.   At least two of the titles are historical adventure series, a popular genre in Europe where creators such as Hugo Pratt (Corto Maltese) have enjoyed tremendous success with graphic novels awash in exotic adventures set in some colorful period of the past.
