Continuing its movie year elevation of the Superman franchise with material new and old, DC Comics will collect the 2001 Our Worlds at War storyline in two omnibus editions, with the first launching this fall. Superman: Our Worlds at War Omnibus Vol. 1: Prelude to War! will introduce the conflict between Earth’s superheroes and the cosmic threat Imeriex, who represents entropy and could destroy the universe.
Writers include Jeph Loeb and others, and artists include Ed McGuinness, Mike McKone and others. The cover is by McGuinness and Cam Smith.
