Moore started in the games industry over two decades ago. In 1995, he founded Last Unicorn Games, alongside Owen Seyler, Greg Ormand, and Bernie Cahill, and served as the company's CEO for five years before it was sold to Wizards of the Coast. At WotC, he became their D20 Games Creative Director, until he was poached by Decipher Inc. in 2001 to become the Vice President of their RPG & Miniatures Studio (see "Decipher Nabs Last Unicorn Developers"). There, he ran Decipher's RPG studio and successfully launched games for Lord of the Rings and Star Trek.
Beyond the games industry, Moore made a splash on the Las Vegas scene as CEO of Vegas Group Entertainment and later, in the medical device sector, as CEO and co-inventor of BreatheBand, a magnetic nose strip. Most recently, he served as a Managing Partner at Exemplar Holdings, LLC, where he specialized in turning around distressed companies .
