Dark Horse has added three more volumes to its Barnes & Noble licensing agreement, which started with a Trigun Volume 1 hardcover last summer (see 'Barnes & Noble Has Exclusive Trigun #1').  All are hardcovers priced at less than the Dark Horse trade paperback editions.  The three volumes are Akira Vol. 1 ($14.95, out now), Trigun Vol. 2 ($11.95, December) and Hellsing Vol. 1 ($9.95, December).

Asked whether it would be safe to assume that the three series involved would continue beyond these volumes, Dark Horse spokesperson Lee Dawson said, 'Not necessarily, right now those are all that were contracted for.  If they do well there's a possibility we might do more.'  Dawson also said that no additional titles had been contracted for as of this date.
