Early word is that a favorable ruling was obtained in the court challenge to Arkansas Act 858, a new law that regulated display of materials that might be considered 'harmful to minors.'  The case was brought by an Arkansas bookseller and the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, the American Booksellers Foundation, the Arkansas ACLU and others (see 'CBLDF Joins in Arkansas Suit').  The federal court case was aided by an Arkansas Supreme Court ruling that helped define the Arkansas law (see 'CBLDF Feels Arkansas Ruling Will Help').
