IDW Publishing is continuing to cross-promote its Metal Gear Solid comic series to fans of the three videogame releases.  The instruction book for the newest videogame release, Metal Gear Solid 3:  Snake Eater, includes a full page ad for the comic that includes the Comic Shop Locator info. 

 

An 8-page preview and the same ad, with the Comic Shop Locator info, also appears in the Metal Gear Solid 3:  Snake Eater Official Strategy Guide from Brady Games.

 

IDW has also mounted a massive PR campaign in videogame magazines for its comic (see 'IDW Plans PR Push for Metal Gear Solid').   

 

The property may also soon get additional exposure in another medium.  Variety reported on Monday that the videogame's creator, Hideo Kojima, is finally interested in a movie based on his hit property.
