Mayfair Games has announced six new releases for January, all $10 games that play in 30 minutes or less.  All are from El Diablo. 

 

Abracadabra is a card game for 2 to 6 players, ages 8 and up, in which apprentice wizards are gathering to prepare their most powerful spells.

 

Farfalia is a trick-taking game for 2 to 5 players, ages 8 and up, in which the naturalist magazine Farfalia sends its followers after five subjects. 

 

Mister Bill is a game of exchanges and luck for 3-8 players, ages 7 and up, which takes place in Mister Bill's restaurant. 

 

Moby Pick is a game of reflexes for 2 to 8 players, ages 7 and up.  Moby Pick is a talking whale, one of three characters that gather to talk about their dreams. 

 

Oriente is a diplomacy and warfare game for 4 to 12 players.  The setting and characters are Japanese-style, with a shogun, samurais, ninjas, and more.

 

Word Jam is a word and betting game for 5 to 12 players, ages 10 and up, in which Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves try to open the cave, but can only remember the consonants in the password.

 

And in December, Mayfair will ship the next printing of Empire Builder, with a new cover but everything else the same as it ever was.
