Mayfair has announced that Guido Teuber, Managing Drector of Catan LLC, has joined the company as PR/Marketing Director.  Teuber is the son of Settlers of Catan designer Klaus Teuber, and Catan LLC is the source of Mayfair's U.S. rights to publish the Settlers line as well as other Teuber games. 

The hire cements the alliance between Catan and Mayfair; Guido Teuber has been a partner and shareholder at Mayfair for many years.  According to Mayfair CEO Will Niebling, Teuber '..would like to see German-style board games to become as successful in the US as they are in Germany.'
