Dynamic Forces has announced the acquisition of a license for a wide range of merchandise featuring Red Sonja, The She-Devil With a Sword, a character loosely based on a gun-toting creation of Robert E. Howard (Conan), that Roy Thomas fashioned into a sword-wielding foil for Conan.  Red Sonja made her first appearance in Marvel's Conan the Barbarian #23 and then went on to star in a comic series of her own.  Dynamic Forces' license allows for the production of trading cards, lithographs, giclees, acetate lithos, wall scrolls, and limited edition resin items -- including statues, busts, bookends, and snowglobes featuring images from both the 1985 Red Sonja movie, which co-starred 'The Governator,' and the classic Marvel comics.

The acquisition of the Red Sonja license should be an excellent fit for Dynamic Forces, which recently announced a license to create merchandise based on Robert E. Howard's Conan the Barbarian (see 'Alex Ross Does Conan'). Dynamic Forces' sister company Dynamite Entertainment is also preparing to launch a new Red Sonja comic book series this spring (see 'She-Devil With a Sword Returns').
