According to the Los Angeles Times, Viz is planning to launch a new monthly manga anthology magazine and line of trade paperbacks in June.  Both the new magazine and the trade paperback line will carry the new Shojo Beat brand.   

 

This is the second new brand targeting specific demographic segments of the manga market that Viz is launching this year.  In April, the company will launch Shonen Jump Advanced, a new manga line for older teens and young adults (see 'Viz Gets Fullmetal Alchemist').
