Palisades Toys has announced a boxed set of two-inch, non-articulated Invader Zim figures, which will retail for $14.99 (srp) and should reach retailers' shelves sometime in the fall of this year.  Palisades has already released a highly successful first series of Invader Zim Action Figures -- and a second series of full size action figure is also slated for the fall.  Although the Invader Zim animated series was cancelled by Nickelodeon in January of 2002, the property has developed a sizable cult following and the Invader Zim DVDs from Media Blasters have become an outright 'cult' hit (see 'Invader Zim Is a Stealth Hit').

The newly announced Invader Zim Miniature Figurine Set...of DOOM! features sculpts that portray characters and costumes based on specific episodes from the popular series including: Invader Zim in his human disguise from 'The Most Horrible Christmas Ever'; Gaz in her Beaver Suit from 'Gaz, Taster of Pork'; Bologna Dib from 'Bolognius Maximus'; and GIR riding the piggy.
