Yamato USA is planning an October release for a number of imported PVC statues and figures based on Megaman X, Ikki Tousen, and Please Teacher as well as cold cast resin figures from the Please Teacher sequel, Please Twins. All the items are available from a number of distributors including Diamond, AAA Anime and Entertainment Earth.
The popular Capcom videogame franchise Megaman X gets the gashaphon treatment with an assortment of 12 fully assembled 3-4' PVC figures, two each of six different figures including the old 'blue bomber' himself.
Also shipping in October is a 1/7 scale PVC statue of Sonsaku Hakafu, the buxom female warrior from the popular Ikki Tousen manga and anime series. Tokyopop publishes the manga here in the U.S. as Battle Vixens, while Geneon is releasing the Ikki Tousen anime in the States.
Yamato USA has another PVC statue that should prove popular with anime fans, a Mizuho Kazami (from Please Teacher) in her wedding gown figure. The figure is available with either a white or a black gown, and the wedding dress can be detached and replaced with a mini skirt for any otaku who doesn't want to be reminded that Mizuho is already taken.
Mizuho is also available in an assortment of three 5' scale resin statues from Banpresto that also includes Karen and Miina from the Please Teacher sequel, Please Twins. The assortment includes two each of the three girls for a total of six figures.
