ADV Films has announced that the fourth installment of Studio Gainax's Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water will be released on video and DVD on November 11, 2001.  Gainax, of course, is the studio responsible for Evangelion, The Wings of Honneamise, and many other classic anime titles.  Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water is 'loosely based' on Jules Verne's science fiction classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.  The fourth installment of Nadia, which is entitled Battleground, runs 100 minutes and carries an age rating of 12+.

Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water #4: Battleground will be available on VHS in an English language only version, which will retail for $19.98, as well as in a DVD version which includes both the English language version as well as the original Japanese soundtrack with English subtitles and will retail for $29.98.  The pre-book date for Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water #4 is October 9.  Both the DVD and VHS versions are listed in the latest issues of the FM Request Line and Diamond Previews catalogs.
