Score Entertainment has announced a November 2 release for the 140-card Kassen Expansion for the InuYasha Trading Card Game.  The Kassen release will include two rare Rumiko Takahashi Autograph Cards (see 'Two Takahashi Autograph Cards Per Series') as well as a ten-card foil subset that includes Inuyasha's legendary foes.  The Kassen ('Kassen' is Japanese for 'war') Expansion is available only in 10-card Booster Packs (MSRP $2.99).  The boosters are packed 12 per Booster Display Box (MSRP $35.88).

 

Each 10-card Kassen Booster Pack includes 6 common cards, 3 uncommon cards, and 1 rare card.  The 121-card base set includes 45 commons, 40 uncommons, 30 rares, 4 Ultra Rares (packed 1 per every 18 packs) and 2 Hidden Rares (1 per every 288 packs).  The other 19 cards in the expansion include the 10-cards foil subset of Legendary Foes and 9 alternate art promo cards.  The Ultra Rares, Hidden Rares and Subset cards replace common cards in the booster packs.

 

Score is planning to back this release with national ads and convention exposure and Score will provide qualified retailers with free Tournament Kits each month for in-store play.  Each Tournament Kit comes with an exclusive binder for each month and one random insert binder.
