DC Comics, which has already published some 40 million Bionicles custom comic books, is now planning to include new Bionicles adventures as backup stories in a number of its kids' titles including Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, Justice League Unlimited, The Batman Strikes, and Teen Titans Go.  The Bionicles backup stories will run in DC's juvenile titles through the rest of 2005.

The new Bionicles comic series, which is based on the popular toys from Lego Systems, will also appear in the Sports Illustrated For Kids magazine, and the S.I. For Kids exposure has the potential to engage a wide audience, which may be unaware of the Bionicles toys and comic books.
