Bandai Entertainment is preparing to launch Go Nagai's Panda-Z, a startling combination of panda cuteness and robot conflict.  The hero of this series of 30 five-minute shorts is a cute little scarf-wearing panda (Pan-Tauron) who rides into battle against the Skull Pandas in his invincible robot, Panda-Z.  All-out mecha action was never this cute or this funny.  Bandai is releasing the first 30-minute Panda-Z DVD in a regular version (SRP $14.98) and in The Robominal Edition (SRP $19.98), which includes one of three ultra-cool figures.

The Panda-Z merchandise line, created by Bandai subsidiary MegaHouse, has become a huge hit in Japan and it's easy to see why when you check out three-inch authentic posing MegaHouse mini-figure included in The Robominal Edition.  Both versions of the first Panda-Z DVD are due out on September 27th.
