Video Business has reported that Buena Vista will release a two-DVD special edition set of Sin City in December.  The bare-bones version, released last month, had no extras; the new version will include an extended, unrated version of the film as well as the option of watching each story on its own, separate from the rest of the film.  Extras will include 'three commentary tracks, seven behind-the-scenes featurettes, a timeline linking the film's individual stories, bloopers, and Rodriguez's '20-Minute Film School,' and (as we requested, see 'Sin City DVD Has Four Covers') '10-Minute Cooking School,' with breakfast tacos.'  MSRP for the set will be $39.99.

The bare-bones Sin City DVD hit #1 on the sales charts (see 'Sin City DVD Is #1'), and also stimulated sales of the graphic novels significantly (see 'The DVD Effect Materializes').
