The October Previews catalog includes the second series of Dark Alliance toys from Eternal Toys, Diamond Select, and Art Asylum.  These figures are of course based on characters from Chaos comics and Series 2 consists of Lady Death, Cremator, and Oblivia, and Vandala.  Each figure will feature illustrated full color blister card packaging and the 7' tall (or bigger) figures will retail for $13.95 each.  Retailers must purchase the figures in case lots.

The first series of Dark Alliance figures did very well at retail (it topped the ICv2 Top Ten Cool Toy list the month it debuted), and the sculpting on the new series looks better than ever.  Art Asylum's chief chiseler -- Digger--really outdid himself on the gun-toting Oblivia, while Cremator is both massive and extremely detailed.  So far toys like the Dark Alliance figures, which are aimed straight at collectors and the comic fan base, have found favor with their target audience as long as the figures are state-of-the-art sculpts, which these figures give every indication of being, at least from the picture we have seen.
