Collections of Simpsons comics, based on the popular long-running TV series, are among the best-selling American entries on the BookScan list of graphic novels sold in bookstores, and Bongo's Simpsons trades are also among the best-performing humor and all-ages books in the direct market.  In February Bongo is releasing a new collection of side splitting stories from the pages of Simpsons Comics including a wide range of satirical broadsides such as 'Judge Marge,' which turns a jaundiced eye on the firm hand of the Judge Judy-type of female Solomons, 'Viva Bart' in which the Simpsons travel to a banana republic in the midst of yet another military coup, and 'Cruisin' for a Bruisin' in which Homer captains a Springfield version of the Love Boat.

Bongo will release the 176-page, full color Simpsons Comics: Jam-Packed Jamboree trade paperback in the direct market in February, while Harper Collins is slated to release its version of the book to bookstores on April 1st.
