In February Green Ronin will publish True20 Adventure Roleplaying, a 224-page core rulebook that offers a simplified and streamlined game system for all types of roleplaying adventures.  First introduced in Green Ronin's Blue Rose RPG  (see 'Green Ronin's Blue Rose'), the True20 rules won an ENnie Award at this past GenCon Indy.  Game designer Steve Kenson has taken the system to the next level in the hardbound True20 Adventure Roleplaying Core Rulebook ($34.95), which contains everything necessary for a quality RPG experience including character creation, combat, special abilities, supernatural powers, and equipment along with several campaign settings, including the winners of a contest announced earlier this year by Green Ronin.

Green Ronin's 'Setting Search,' which was announced in June, gave small publishers a chance to have their campaign settings featured in the True20 core rulebook, and the response to the contest has been so overwhelming that Green Ronin now plans to publish a separate True20 Worlds of Adventure book next summer featuring the runners-up.  Both the winners and the runners-up will be announced in Dragon Magazine #340, which goes on sale in early January.
