Inkworks Cards will release Veronica Mars Premium Cards, based on the popular and critically acclaimed UPN series, in February.  Three SKUs are planned:  the trading card packs ($2.99 MSRP), Collector Album ($19.95), and Who Killed Lilly Kane Mini-Press Sheet ($69.95).  The story of a high school-age private investigator, currently in its second season, premiered last year to poor ratings, but has steadily improved behind good reviews and solid word of mouth. 

Next up after Veronica Mars, Inkworks will release Family Guy Season 2 Trading Cards in March. 

Also up for 2006, probably by mid-year, is a second series of Lost Trading Cards, a mid-season set.  That release will follow up the successful release of the first series this month; it's already sold out from Inkworks despite still being en route to retailers. 

Other 2006 Inkworks releases will include Sopranos Season 2, and new seasons of Charmed, Buffy, and Smallville.
