ICv2 has obtained an exclusive look at the Ultimate X-Men Collection Volume 1 trade paperback, first revealed in Marvel's recent press conference (see 'TV Guide to Cover Ultimate Mini-Series').  This 336-page collection collects the first year of Mark Millar's Ultimate X-Men stories in a lower-priced edition ($24.99) designed to capitalize on the excitement around X-Men 3 and offer consumers an inexpensive jumping-on point for the property.  It will also include the rare Ultimate X-Men #1/2.  The collection, written by Millar and Geoff Johns, with pencils by Adam Kubert, Andy Kubert, Tom Raney, Thomas Derencik and Aaron Lopresti, will feature a new cover by Leinil Francis Yu.
