Dark Horse will publish two Hellboy miniseries in 2006, both with covers and stories by creator Mike Mignola.  First up is Hellboy:  Makoma or, a Tale Told by a Mumy in the New York City Explorers' Clubon August 16, 1993.  This two-shot miniseries will feature interior art by Richard Corben, also with a framing sequence drawn by Mignola.  Hellboy:  Makoma #1 will ship February 1st at $2.99.

 

Darkness Calls is a six-shot miniseries launching in September. Interior art will be provided by Duncan Fegredo.  The storyline is a direct follow-up to 2005's The Island.
 
A second Hellboy feature film and an animated series are also in the works (see 'IDT Plans Hellboy Animated Series').
