At the Diamond/Alliance Retailer Summit in Las Vegas last week, Inkworks President Allan Caplan told ICv2 that the company will be producing Scooby Doo trading cards in 2002.  The first release will be movie cards tied to the live action Scooby feature due to be released in Q2.  Two other Scooby releases will tie in with Halloween (naturally) and Christmas 2002.

 

Q1 2002 releases include VIP in February and X-Files Season 8 in March.  In April, Inkworks will release Witchblade (based on the TV series) and ET (in conjunction with the first-ever video release).  Other 2002 releases include Men in Black II, Stuart Little II, and Spirit (from the people that brought you Shrek).
