JoyRide Entertainment has announced plans for Full Metal Alchemist Trading Card Game Leagues, which will provide a more casual setting for players than sanctioned tournaments, with rules that can be altered to fit a specific play group. While tournaments must be held at a public place, open to all comers, anyone can download the materials need to run a League from the JoyRide FMA TCG Website, though only the scorecards, rules overview and super-deformed rules are available for free -- the downloads do not provide any prize support.
Official FMA TCG League Kits, which include a poster to keep track of weekly winners as well as prize support for 16 players, are available for free for JoyRide Entertainment Premier Retailers. Once every three months JoyRide will send all its Premier Retailers a free League Kit. Other retailers, volunteers, and tournament organizers, as well as Premier Retailers wishing to run multiple leagues can all purchase the League Kits they need from JoyRide Entertainment for $20.
JoyRide will mail League Kits to all Premier Retailers starting on December 12th and the kits will be available for purchase starting January 4th. Stores that sell the FMA TCG and wish to be listed as Premier Retailers should contact JoyRide Entertainment.
