Dark Horse Comics has announced that veteran comic book artist/writer Timothy Truman (Grimjack, Scout, Hawkman, Jonah Hex) will take over the writing of the monthly Conan series with issue #33.  Before Truman takes over from current writer Kurt Busiek, who has written the title since its inception at Dark Horse, Mike Mignola will provide a bizarre and haunting adaptation of Robert E. Howard's story 'The Hall of the Dead.'

Truman characterized his upcoming stint on Conan as ' the fulfillment of a childhood dream, Conan is one of the very few characters that I've ever been fannish about.  I am an unrepentant, unreconstructed Robert E. Howard fanboy and have been since I was twelve years old.'
