Universal Home Video has announced that it will release the DVD version of Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit on February 7th.  The stop motion animated feature from creator Nick Parks topped the box office during its debut weekend and earned more than $50 million at the domestic box office.  The Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Wererabbit DVD (MSRP $29.99) will provide a gorgeous anamorphic transfer of the film as well as numerous bonus features including a behind-the-scenes look at how all the stop motion magic is created.

Universal's marketing of the DVD will also provide retailers with another opportunity to merchandise the numerous Wallace & Gromit tie-in products, which include a sumptuous The Art of Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit volume from Titan books, ultra cool Wallace & Gromit figures from McFarlane Toys (see 'McFarlane Gets Wallace & Gromit'), and a superb die-cast replica of the Anti-Pesto Van from Corgi (see 'Corgi Nabs Wallace & Gromit License').
