McFarlane Toys is producing a series of 3-inch Spawn Trading Figures that will be released in April 2006.  The first series will include 12 different figures: Spawn, Redeemer, The Curse, Zombie Spawn, Gatekeeper, Mandarin Spawn, Wings of Redemption Spawn, Raven Spawn, Skullsplitter, Spawn i.O39,  Spawn the Black Knight, and Spawn Issue 85 Cover Art.

Gold Variant

Like Japanese trading figures, the 12 Spawn mini-figures will come in three different paint treatments: normal, black, and gold, with the gold being the rarest -- so in order to collect all the variants, it will be necessary to acquire a total of 36 figures.  McFarlane Toys has not yet released details of price and packaging for this line, which is clearly aimed at collectors.
