SLG Publishing will release the first issue of its Tron: The Ghost in the Machine comic book series in April.  Landry Walker and Eric Jones are writing the full color Tron comic, which is drawn by animator Louie De Martinis, and will have a cover price of $3.50.  Based on the 1982 cult hit film, Tron, the book is the second in a series of titles licensed by SLG from Disney.  SLG's The Haunted Mansion debuted last October; and two other series, Wonderland by Tommy Kovac, and Sonny Liew and Gargoyles by Greg Weisman and David Hedgecock, are scheduled for later in the year.

The storyline of the Tron comic series is pure science fiction; the protagonist is disintegrated, reduced to pure information, and forced to exist in the digital world of a video game.  The first issue of the Tron comic is being solicited in the February issue of Diamond Previews.
