WizKids has announced the 2006 schedule for its HeroClix Collectible Miniatures Games.  There are three DC HeroClix releases slated for this year starting with DC HeroClix: Collateral Damage on February 13, followed by the DC HeroClix Giants Collector's Set in March and the DC HeroClix Green Lantern Collector's Set in September.

Things heat up for the Marvel HeroClix game in June with the Marvel HeroClix: Sinister (see 'Marvel HeroClix: Sinister in June') and the Marvel HeroClix Danger Room Game, a stand-alone, diorama-format HeroClix game with updated rules and a variety of X-Men, which should provide a great jumping-on point for new fans energized by the X-3 movie.

In August WizKids will release the first new Indy HeroClix set in a year with the release of Image HeroClix: Invincible Collector's Set.

For those participating in HeroClix tournaments June 30th marks the 2006 set retirement dates for the DC HeroClix: Cosmic Justice, Marvel HeroClix: Critical Mass, and Marvel HeroClix: Universe.
