Pokemon USA has announced a 24-city national mall tour starting on February 25th and continuing through July 22nd.  The 'Pokemon Journey Across America' tour includes numerous on-site activities, including a Pokemon Trading Card Game play area, live character downloads for Pokemon video games, live costume characters, and a chance to qualify for the Pokemon Video Game National Championships. 

Pokemon is celebrating its tenth anniversary and at each tour stop fans will be able to visit the tenth anniversary lounge and look back at Pokemon through the years and also get a peek at upcoming product launches and anniversary initiatives.

Among the special events slated for 2006 are a one-hour TV special in April entitled The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon, and the eighth Pokemon movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, which will be released later in the year.
