4Kids Entertainment, Inc. has announced results for both the fourth quarter and fiscal year ending December 31, 2005.  For the entire year net revenues were $86.7 million compared with $103.3 million in 2004, while Q4 net revenues were$26.9 million compared with $34.1 million for the same period in 2004.  4Kids Entertainment Chairman and CEO Alfred R. Kahn commented: 'We had very disappointing results in 2005 with licensing revenues off 25% compared to 2004.  Revenues from our two top properties, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, declined and were only partially offset by increased revenues from our Cabbage Patch Kids and Winx Club properties.'

As part of its financial report 4Kids announced a two-year extension of its agreement with the Fox Television network to broadcast the 4Kids Saturday morning block (8am to 12pm, ET, PT) through the 2006-2007 and 2007-2008 television seasons.

4Kids also revealed the first fruits of its alliance with Microsoft, Viva Pinata, a property that will debut in a 3-D computer animated TV series set for broadcast as part of the 4Kids block in the fall of 2006, which will be followed by an X-Box video game released in time for the holidays.

Despite a far from stellar performance in 2004, Kahn continues to believe that the prospects for 4Kids Entertainment are good thanks to its agreement with Fox, its alliance with Microsoft and a balance sheet that shows cash and investments of $113.5 million and no debt.
