Although Manga Entertainment is still releasing the popular Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig anime series (rated as the #5 TV anime in the U.S. in ICv2's upcoming Retailers Guide to Anime/Manga #14), it hasn't announced very many new titles recently so it's good see that 'Anime on DVD' is reporting that Manga will release the first volume in the 2004-2005 anime series Tactics on June 27th.  The 25-episode Tactics anime is based on the popular 4-volume manga series by Sakura Kinoshita and Kazuko Higahiyama (ADV has published the first two volumes of the manga). 

In keeping with the recent trend to provide more value for the anime dollar Manga Entertainment is providing fans with six episodes (150 minutes) of Tactics for a suggested retail price of $24.98. 

Manga also announced the July 18th release of the Uncut Street Fighter II: The Movie (MSRP $19.98).  This 1994 anime feature was based on the popular Super Street Fighter 2 video game -- and though it has been released before in the U.S. in various formats and versions, this will mark the first time that American fans will be able to see all of Chun-Li's famous shower scene!
