Diamond and Alliance have announced the dates for their two 2006 Retailer Summits, planned for Baltimore and Ft. Wayne.  These events, hosted jointly by Diamond Comic Distributors and Alliance Game Distributors, are among the largest trade events for pop culture retailers specializing in comics and games.  The Alliance Open House and warehouse sale will be held in conjunction with both events. 

The Baltimore Retailer Summit, which drew over 550 retailers from 350 stores in 2005, will be held at the Baltimore Convention Center on Monday and Tuesday, September 11th and 12th.  As was the case last year, the Baltimore Comic-Con will lead into the event.  This year, the Baltimore Retailer Summit will also include an Industry Open House at Geppi's Entertainment Museum at Camden yards.

The Ft. Wayne Retailer Summit, which drew over 275 retailers representing 190 stores last year, is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th and Sunday, October 15th at the Grand Wayne Convention Center.
