There's no need to fear, Jason Lee is here! Lee, the My Name is Earl star, will provide the voice for Underdog in the upcoming live action feature based on the property.

Making the film unique, director Frederik Du Chau (Racing Stripes) intends to use a real dog for the titular pooch and use as little CGI as possible.

The movie started shooting earlier this month (see 'Underdog Gets Underway') with Station Agent star Peter Dinklage in the role of the evil Simon Barsinister.

Currently, the film is scheduled for release on August 3, 2007.
