Online and print comic publisher Komikwerks will try its hand at printed prose, when it launches its Actionopolis line of novels this summer.  The series will present young adult fiction by established comic writers -- such as Blue Devil's Dan Mishkin, or Caliber Comics' Gary Reed (see 'Deperarado, Komikworks Revive Caliber Comics').

Upcoming titles in the Actionopolis line include:

The Forest King by Dan Mishkin, illustrated by Tom Mandrake (July)

What I did on my Hypergalactic Interstellar Summer Vacation by Adam Beechen, illustrated by Dan Hipp (July)

Heir to Fire by Rob Worley, illustrated by Mike Dubisch (Aug.)

Spirit of the Samurai by Gary Reed, illustrated by Rick Hoberg (Aug.)

The Anubis Tapestry by Bruce Zick (Sept.)

Blackfoot Braves Society by Christopher E. Long, illustrated by Michael Geiger (Sept.)
