Marc Guggenheim, a veteran TV writer with credits that include The Practice, Law and Order, and CSI, is the latest scribe from outside the comic world to pen a key Marvel title.  Guggenheim takes over as writer in Wolverine #42, the first part of 'Vendetta,' a Civil War tie-in in which Wolverine is on a mission of vengeance trying to track down the perpetrator of the tragedy in Stamford, CT that occurs in Civil War #1.

Humberto Ramos provides the pencils for the 'Vendetta' saga in which Wolvey discovers that a mysterious trio is also hunting the chief culprit behind the Stamford tragedy.  Wolverine #42 carries a 'Parental Advisory' and ship to retailers on May 24th.
