When we put out a call for comments on Marvel's new Walmart program, we weren't sure what we'd get. As we said in our original article (see 'Marvel Reprints Ultimate #1s for Walmart'), the increased exposure is good for the comic industry, but we expected that some retailers were going to be upset that they weren't offered the new editions of these comics. The response was mixed, with many retailers noting both sides of the issue, some seeing only the negative, but more seeing the benefits of exposing new consumers to comics. Over-all, there's been some good thought put into the comments -- this is a complex issue with overlapping elements and the comments reflect that.
