Variety is reporting that Bryan Singer, who's been associated with the remake of Logan's Run for years (see 'Bryan Singer to Remake Logan's Run'), may be off the picture due to the demands of filming the yet-to-be-announced sequel to Superman Returns. According to the report, if the response to Superman Returns is as expected, the studio wants Singer to start shooting a sequel late next year.
Logan's Run was supposed to start shooting this fall; when Singer was first associated with the film, it was slated to release in 2005. If Singer does bail, one rumor has James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) stepping in.
