Comic Images has announced a promotional program for its Conan Collectible Card Game that will allow consumers to obtain a special foil Conan the Barbarian card for purchasing $10 or more worth of Conan CCG merchandise at a select retailer.  Retailers who wish to become 'select retailers' and participate in the program can contact Comic Images via its Website.  The consumer offer is limited to one card per purchase.

Comic Images is also cautioning consumers not to throw away the 'Renown' and 'Tournament' gems on the wrappers of the booster packs and on the decks of the starters.  Information about how players can make use of these 'gems' will be posted on the Conan CCG portion of the Comic Images Website soon.

The Conan property is heating up with comics from Dark Horse continuing to do well, a new Guide to Conan from DK Publishing (see 'DK Plans Conan, Smallville Guides'), and a live action movie that is set to start shooting early next year (see 'Conan Movie Gets Writer, Director').
