Mark Smylie, creator of the Origins Award-nominated RPG, Artesia: Adventures in the Known World, has announced the hiring of Joe Martin to become the editor of a line of books to support the Artesia RPG.  Joe Martin brings a ton of game industry experience to Archaia Studios Press, the publisher of the Artesia RPG.  Martin co-wrote and co-developed the Warmachine line for Privateer Press where he was Editor-in-Chief, and his fiction appeared in virtually every Privateer Press release from 2002-2005.

The Artesia RPG core rulebook, Artesia: Adventures in the Known World ($39.95), which appeared last December, is a deluxe, full color 352-page hardcover.  After producing the mighty tome nearly single-handedly Archaia's Mark Smylie is obviously pleased with prospect of delegating the job of editing supplements and sourcebooks for the Artesia RPG to Joe Martin.  Future releases for the Artesia RPG are scheduled for release during the first half of 2007.
