Bandai Collectible Games has informed ICv2 that it is going back to press with The Path to Hokage, the first series of the Naruto CCG.  The initial shipment of Series #1 Naruto cards to the hobby sold out quickly and Bandai reacted by diverting mass-market product to hobby stores (see 'Bandai Responds to Naruto CCG Sell Out'), but that product too has evidently sold out. Andrew Lupp, Bandai's National Sales Manager, told ICv2: 'To the best of my knowledge, there is no more product of any quantity left in our warehouse, and very little left at retail.'

Bandai is currently in the process of finalizing hobby orders for an 'Unlimited' printing of booster packs for Series #1.  Lupp told ICv2, 'These will be regular 24-count booster packs without the 'First Edition' mark on the cards, and with some minor revisions to correct mistakes.'

The second printing Series #1 Boosters Packs will arrive at retail in September, positioned between the late July release of Naruto Series #2: Coils of the Snake and the Q4 release of Naruto Series #3: Curse of the Sand.  To accommodate the growing fan base for the Naruto CCG, Bandai hopes to be able to keep the 'Unlimited' Series #1 Naruto cards available through the 2006 holiday season.
