Mayfair Games has announced the August release of Figaro, a new card game from Reiner Knizia (Lost Cities, Tigris and Euphrates), who is considered one of the world's leading game designers.  In Figaro, which is set in the world of Vive il Re! and King Me!, the King is in desperate need of help and his goofy jester Figaro would like to fill the bill, but he is a  bit of a doofus and also must avoid the dirty tricks of the other players.

Figaro (MSRP $20), which Mayfair co-produced with daVinci, is a quick (20-30 minutes) and challenging card game for 3-6 players (ages 8 and up). The deluxe Figaro package includes 60 cards, 15 road pieces, castle wall, King Figure, linen bag and rules.
