Variety is reporting that Toei Animation (DBZ) and Walt Disney Television Intl. Japan are developing an anime series for Toon Disney's Jetix programming block, which is available in 279 million households in 80 countries around the world. Almost two years ago Toei made a pilot for the series, RoboDaze, which features the adventures of a bunch of miniature robots, and which was based on 'jointly developed' character designs.
According to Variety Toei will debut the series in Japan, and if it is successful Disney, which shares the series' rights with Toei, will make it part of the worldwide Jetix block.
