Viz kicked off a major transit promotion in the San Francisco Bay area today.  The promotion will put Viz characters on one million BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) tickets beginning in mid-September.  The properties featured will include InuYasha, Pokemon, Full Moon, Naruto, Zatch Bell, and Fullmetal Alchemist. 

Viz is also the sponsor of 'Kids Ride Free Saturdays' on the transit system in August, which allows kids 12 and under to travel on the system at no charge on Saturdays.  Special promotions will be featured each Saturday this month, including special ticket prices for an Oakland A's game and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.  And on the last Saturday of the month, Viz will distribute 10,000 free goodie bags with manga, anime, posters, and other items.
