Yamato is launching Creators Labo, a new figure line 'with a focus on melding the talents of artists and sculptors working in Japan.'  The first figures will focus on sculptors; later releases will bring artists and sculptors together in creative experiments (hence the 'Lab' -- 'Labo' is a Japanese pronunciation of the English word). 

The first U.S. release is Burst Angel:  Meg, a 1/7 scale PVC statue sculpted by Kang Yong of Cerberus Project TM, a four-person sculpting team.  It will ship this fall. 

Other sculptors whose work will be featured in the Creators Labo line include Mitsumasa Yoshizawa , and Long Long. 

A Yamato spokesperson would not comment on the company's distributor list for the Meg figure, which included self-distribution to retailers and distributors AAA Anime, BBCW, Entertainment Earth, and Grosnor Distribution.
