Tokyopop will produce three different covers for its first Star Trek: The Manga (see 'Star Trek Manga' in September') volume.  One cover will be sold exclusively through independent comic book stores, one through retail book chains, and the third only at Star Trek conventions. 

Offering variant covers for sales through different channels will give Trek collectors a reason to seek out copies in multiple venues, and create some additional interest in the title.
